"This is a very convenient location on the island for the following reasons. When staying at other hotels in the tourist areas such as furnas/ sete cidades you have to drive up steep roads daily to traverse in/out of your hotels city. That can take hours of your day away and depending on time of day (night hours) or weather can be unsafe having to commute such steep terrain. "Great hotel right in the centre of the town. Sophia was a great help at the desk too with getting us reservations and calling us cabs. The hot tub and sauna was by reservation which was nice so you get it all to yourself. And theres a nice cafe and bar across the way from the hotel so you can get a close final drink for the night."
