"The town of Guiglia is great for anyone wants to explore Emilia Romagna by car but avoid actually staying in the larger towns of Modena or Bologna. We had a variety of experiences in Castelvetro, Modena, and other surrounding towns, and all were fairly easy to access from Guiglia. The property itself is lovely, and the kitchen was well-stocked if you want to cook a few meals at home. "We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."

"Fantastic views and very comfortable! Cozy cottage and quiet stay. It was very clean and had plenty of room for 5 adults aged 24-86! It was exactly as described and the host Mario was wonderful- made himself available to answer any questions we had. Wi-Fi, parking and the 3/3 bed/bath was exactly what we needed. The killer views and quiet neighborhood were a perfect! "
