"We are a couple in our 50s and came to Blenheim to visit its renowned wineries. We stayed at the French Fields for 2 nights and it really exceeded all our expectations. If I could give it 6 stars I would. The location is super convenient for getting to the wineries. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. "It's hard not to revert to the amazing view as the jewel in the crown here but the truth is that the hospitality shown by Peter and Pat was the real highlight. "Basic cabin, toilets, showers and kitchen were clean and well maintained. The aroma in the kitchen was very uninviting. Believe it was just a combination of old food smells. Really needed to be aired out. Kitchen not open till 7am. With the number of people there for the early barge would be better of the hot water was available before that time."
