"Stay was pleasant. AC was good, good water pressure, clean rooms. Sound proofing was poor though. I could hear noise from the hallway and the adjacent rooms. Housekeeping wasnt 24/7 so sometimes you have go downstairs to get some amenities you need but we do need to manage expectations since this is a budget hotel. But they do deliver the basics of what you need for a pleasant stay."

"This property say that they are “SG Clean” but they are not. This place was so disgusting that we only spent a few hours there until we found another hotel. The mattresses, bedsheets, and everything were disgusting. The bedsheets were super old, with stains, and hairs! The mattress and pillows were dirty and spelled like other people’s sweat. The towels were unwashed and also smelled like sweat. There were also cockroaches and hairs, a lot of hairs even in the floor. They did not even bother to...

"We arrived at the hotel after a 13 hour flight from London. We were tired but the room was not ready because it was before 10am. However the staff got the room ready for us and we were able to have a rest before heading out to explore Singapore. "

"The stay at the Hotel 81 Palace was very nice, it was definitely recently renovated and I enjoyed the evenings in a comfortable, decently sized room. I would say that the area around the hotel was... not what you'd think of when you think Singapore. But it's also a lot cheaper, and food/transportation options were more than good enough. I would say definitely take a cab to/from the hotel on arrival/departure because it's not super easy to get you and your luggage to the airport. "
