"It’s a luxury palace with no services. The property is excellent but it’s managed by kids as They are doing the check in and check out . I was looking for a help suddenly I found the receptionist swimming in the pool . They are not offering any kind of help even I have to tell them about cleaning my room , one day I didn’t tell them they didn’t clean. Hotel restaurant is not working. "This is a basic motel with a clean room in a well-maintained community. You should hire a car or motorbike since waking from this location isn't convenient. Room entry doors really need weatherstripping and door sweeps to keep out the bugs, especially at night when guests are home and room lights are on, which attract bugs. "The villas at Lavanya are beautiful and very well maintained. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with pool. The apartment was quite spacious elegantly built and furnished, with full kitchen and washer dryer. The service was awesome! The only issue I had was that the master bathroom had no door and the toilet in it had glass doors. And that was a major inconvenience for us. Except that, I liked everything about this place!"

Beautiful Colonial Building

"Beautiful colonial style building with centre courtyard gardens and an amazing 50m infinity pool. Dining options however are limited which is a pity given the hotel is somewhat isolated and you will need to travel at least 20mins to get to a town with other restaurant/street market possibilities. Staff were very helpfull. Not enough sun-loungers around the pool which leads to the usual dawn grab by people. The hotel should actively discourage 'booking' of loungers to make it more equitable for all. "

"Make u feel like caming back home. This is our 4year back to Langkawi and stay in the same hotel. Staf here like ur family. We are so happy. The view amazing.beach clean and lovely like private beach not crowded at all. Vary recommend to stay in this hotel."

"Rooms were good, beds comfortable, staffs friendly and ready to assist. Breakfast was excellent at Rice Garden. There were a few maintenance issues like water clogging in wash basin, tv remote not working, door card was not working at times. However staff immediately assisted to resolve issues. We booked for two Delux Double rooms. The rooms were on the other side of the GF even upon request placed during booking to give us rooms next to each other. Sofa bed was provided instead of single bed in the rooms. These were later changed upon request. Overall the experience was very good. Loved the lounge and pool area. There was always a pleasant breeze in these areas at all times which made us unwind and relax. 99island bar and service was great. "
