"We loved staying here. We brought ourselves and our five kids, ages 19-2. It was very clean and cutely decorated, everyone had a comfy place to sleep, plenty of dishes/towels/toys. We didn’t spend a lot of time hanging out there other than nights and the morning, as we were there to visit with family in the area. So we didn’t get to try out the games and such. "The property is beautiful. Lots of rural charm while being close to Bardstown. Our favorite spot was the firepit at dusk. It looks over a field that is lit up with fireflies. The house has tons of antiques and plenty of beds for our group of 10. There is a book with the history of the property which was a nice touch. The skittle game was also popular. Over all it was a great place to come back to after tour distilleries all day. Highly recommended."

"The home was a wonderful surprise! Surpassed our expectations. The home was welcoming , beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the cows in the pasture was an added bonus. The host was very friendly and answered questions on activities venues and restaurants in the local community to help us on our weekend getaway! Wil definitely come back!"

"Our family chose Kentucky to celebrate a milestone birthday & visit Makers’s Mark Distillery. One of the primary reasons we decided on this property was that it was dog friendly. The property itself is warm, inviting and spacious. The owner had great/fast communication —and even stopped by when we couldn’t figure out how to work the television. Throughout our time on the farm, we truly felt like we were being woven into the local fabric. "

"The cottage is adorable, as advertised, but the mattress is not comfortable, and the bed pillows are too full and firm (woke up with a sore neck). My ratings would be much better with a new mattress and pillows. "
