"A good and enjoyable stay. Service was good but rooms could do with a bit of TLC. Breakfast was good. One of our parties room was in a poor state which upon complaint to reception we were promised a upgrade on next visit but we still haven't received an email on this."

"Overall great stay the bed was comfy and the room was clean. There were a couple of issues including the tv not working which we informed the staff about the morning after the 1st night stay but it wasn’t fixed and no one else spoke to us about it even if it was just to say sorry but they couldn’t resolve the issue. Also the room door wouldn’t shut correctly without slamming it which meant we couldn’t enter leave without disturbing others around us."

"Immaculate hotel. From the moment we checked in, we felt informed and welcome. The room was spotless and we enjoyed an evening meal with gorgeous scenery. Easy to access Whitby town from. We stayed with two children (7 & 4) and they were well catered for. Would definitely stay again. "

"They let themselves down with no house keeping in our room. Stayed for two nights & had to ask for towel changes, coffee, milk, tea. No room cleaning done at all. I’m sure this was an oversight but spoiled our stay. Having said that hotel/rooms & food first class👍"
