"Told we could pay by credit card, not so. The owner of the resort had left for 1 month taking the card machine with her. Put us in real financial problems. Service at the restaurant was bad 1 1/2 hours for our meals to arrive. Then the waitress accused me of being maw (drunk) I was appalled by her comment. Lets say we didnt eat there again."

While overall it was a beautiful place with nice staff, those two issues, plus the fact that it was on the more isolated side of the island (read, no beach bars, fewer restaurants), I would never stay there again. There were nice beach huts and other resorts that were a fraction of the price and much better...
