"The house is a great place to rest after a big day exploring. It is dated but functional and cosy. We loved the deck and grounds of the property. The location was good too (we did have a car). Given the house is old, it got very cold and we found the heating options weren’t ideal in that we didn’t want to leave a tiny oil heat running all day while we were out but also didn’t need a big fire burning at the end of the day either. "We had a great time in Taupo and found the property well located to get around Taupo's attractions. The property was clean, tidy and welcoming. A great place to relax. We enjoyed our stay."

"Lovely place to stay and look out over the lake. Kids enjoyed being able to play in the reserve. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of bathroom availability for the large group we had. "

"The apartment was a bit smaller than it looked in the photos, however it was very clean and within walking distance of the town centre which was great. Additionally, having an off road parking space was really useful. The downside was the noisy neighbours, particularly the upstairs neighbours who were loud throughout the night making it difficult to get a good nights sleep."
