"We picked this agritourismo hotel for its proximity to Catania and the airport - as well as its value and good reviews. It is in the middle of nowhere but very easy to find off the A19 because it is well signposted all the way. It is 20 minutes from the airport IF there is no traffic, but it took us 45 minutes because the approach to the airport is terribly confusing and there were long lines of cars. So allow yourself plenty of time. It is an excellent hotel in a rural setting, but so close...

"There's not a lot of hotels in Caltagirone to choose from. Even so, this one is worth a night or two if you are going to the town itself or even Villa Romana. "Check in was a nightmare. Family was supposed to meet host at airport with a cot - but he was no where to be found. Directions to villa were very scattered but finally arrived met by housekeeper and shown around the villa. It was old and in need of some updating but very comfortable for our party of 10. Beds and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Pool was lovely although it was still warm enough to swim in the sea. All in all a wonderful holiday."
