We made reservations five months before we arrived and at that time we requested a room on a lower floor, knowing the topography of the town and that some rooms had many steps. My wife and I are not kids but when we arrived, after not being met at the train station as promised we had to carry our bags up about 75-100 steps to our room. "Great surprise! Wonderful hotel built on original historic architecture in the center of town. We arrived late but were greeted so well by Michel. He was very helpful as were the other staff at the front desk. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go back! Oh yes, and lovely breakfast space."
