"I brought my kids up for a forecasted snow weekend, & it was just what we wanted! We had plenty of snow, we enjoyed the hot tub and deep tub in the main bathroom, the WiFi was exceptional, and the beds were very comfortable. Just a note for those braving the winter weather - we did get snowed in, but only because the municipality didn't plow these specific roads. So just FYI to anyone who might wish to do the same. "This was a perfect get away weekend. Home was located on the mountain in a nice neighborhood, close to shopping and dining. The home was comfortable and clean. We had a great visit and will be back again."

"We did have a few problems finding the place, but the neighbors were wonderful, helping to navigate the mountain. As soon as you start up the mountain you lose Wi-Fi and phone connection. (all stated in the directions but we didn't realize just how quick we would lose service. There was plenty of recreation supplies. The place was pretty and we really enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings, and a fire in the fire pit at night. Bring extra towels if you can. I would recommend it...

"Beautifully located in a valley, very quiet. The views all around were gorgeous. Lots of amenities and activities that come with the subdivision. Even a little chapel. People were friendly and helpful. The condo itself needs an update and some TLC."

"We will never forget this vacation because we witnessed a hawk being attacked by black birds and had a close up and personal experience with a bear right beside our deck. The views were amazing off both decks and the home amenities were top of the line. You need to stay here!"

"We traveled to the area for some winter hiking on the nearby Appalachian Trail and luckily chose to stay at the Lake Chatuge Lodge. Very friendly and helpful staff, our room was large and comfortable, adequate breakfast, and a nice bonus for us; clean and economical laundry machines on our floor. Great nearby locally owned restaurants and retailers too. We originally booked 2 nights and ended up staying 2 additional nights. We will definitely return for our next North Georgia mountain hiking trip!"

"I have had the privilege to visit this resort twice now. I love the atmosphere. The only thing I would change is that the beds aren’t super comfy but I also have back issues so they may be just fine to others that don’t struggle with back issues. "
