"Stayed for a week with family over New Year's. We had a great time, and it went by so fast. Everything was as advertised according to the listing. The only thing I would recommend is to bring your own frying pan or skillet. The existing pans are very hard to cook in without food sticking. We brought our own electric skillet, so it was not much of an issue."

"Helen Georgia is a nice little town with amazing food and a relaxing overall vibe. There's a good amount of shops and things you see and can be done in several hours. The food is definitely a reason to visit, so many delicious spots and some of the best German food we've ever had.The cabin was cozy and in a great location. "The cabin was beautiful and well cared for. All of the amenities are readily available and plentiful.The only disturbing portion of our stay was directly related to the cleanliness of the kitchen and living area of the cabin. We arrived shortly after the check-in time of 4pm. The cleaning person was still present on site and finishing up her cleaning. We waited about 5-10 minutes, and she was done. Would be perfect in the summer time to be able to enjoy the river more that runs behind the property. Definitely recommend."

"We had a great stay and the view and property are better than the pictures show. It was awesome to wake up and drink coffee on the porch with an amazing view of the mountains, lake and even Brasstown Bald off in the distance. The hot tub was nice, even in 30 degree weather, to relax in at the end of the day looking over the valley. The road is steep to get to the cabin but we did it with a Honda CR-V so anyone can do it. The drive up is well worth the view you get. Highly recommend. "
