"We had a wonderful stay in this unit. The location is right in the heart of the city, on the beautiful Avenida. You can't find a more convenient location. Easy access to (paid) parking across the street. The unit was as described with an amazing view of the city from the enclosed balcony. A/C is not the best - we found it best to just open the windows and let the coast breeze cool the unit off, but that was fully disclosed by the owner. Owner was lovely to work with, tons of helpful...

"We learned that the apatment we had rented was in need of urgent repairs, and we were offered a different property, We were expecting to stay in an apartment in the city, but ended up in a house in a suburb near Ponta Delgada. It turned out to be mostly remodeled house, with lots of space, very close to the beach, and walking ditace from restaurants and mercados. Mario was very responsive to resolving any problems that came up, the house was pleasant, and it turned out to be a very good...

"Lovely property, spacious, fully equipped with great views and a luxury feel. Very well positioned for exploring the island, central to all the beaches and mountain attractions such as thermal pools and lakes and only 10min drive to the best surfing beaches."

"This condo is clean and spacious for 4 people…. The location is very good and close to beach and amenities…. The check in process was very efficient and helpful. Probably best to have a car for groceries/touring . However very nice restaurants are within walking distance…. The check in process was seamless and although the pool was in need of repair. It did not hinder our holiday given that it was late April….. highly recommend. Thank you."

"Sara's apartment is incredible. Perfect location, beautiful balcony views, very comfortable bed and couch, and great kitchen. We came for a few days for our honeymoon and Sara was even kind enough to give us a welcoming treat! We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Ponta Delgada. Be sure to check out the restaurant downstairs to the left of the apartment! They were very kind to us and had wonderful food. Muito Obrigada Sara!"

Both provided recommendations of favourite restaurants, and suggested that we connect to WhatsApp for easy communication. 2Stay is perfectly located, walking distance to all amenities, 15 minute walk to "Portas da Cidade" the city centre. 2Stay has all the basic amenities required...steak knives would be nice for a steak dinner! "The quality and size of the “apartments” (they’re basically houses, it’s great) is phenomenal for the price. To have a private back deck, many air conditioners, a kitchen, a nice bathroom, FOUR sets of sliding doors.. it was great. Friendly cats run the grounds, par for the course in Europe. Parking is a little tight and it’s in a quaint area of the island but those very small “negatives” are so heavily outweighed by the friendliness of staff, 24 hour pool and big clean rooms that it’s barely...

"The house was specious clean and beautiful.The host Carlies was beyond amazing he was there to answer questions and provide tips and suggestions about attractions where to eat and what to do all the time. We truly appreciate all his help. Location was the best! I highly recommend this property and hope to come back and stay there "

"This was a fantastic hotel and we would definitely come back! Location could not be better, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and well kept up, and it has everything you need whether you’re staying in or going out exploring. Pros: - We were fresh off a red eye flight and were given a free room upgrade and early check in! - Location is super easy to access from the main highways but is still just a 5 minute walk from the center of Ribeira Grande. - Central location means you’re close to Ponta Delgada and it’s still easy to get to both sides of the island. - Staff are friendly and helpful. - Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and modern. - Shower water pressure is fantastic. - Free breakfast is a nice addition and has many options. - Great gym for a hotel, pools and sauna are fantastic. - Bed is comfortable (if you like a firm mattress). - Easy and ample parking Cons: - Food at breakfast is generally room temperature. - Rooms are not super sound proof. - Limited restaurant options in the immediate area and the hotel’s restaurant is expensive."
