"Overall the Riad was great. Although initially difficult to find, once there it was within easy reach of the tram stop and also within walking distance of the Sale train station. "Firstly, staying in Sale means you get a more "step back in time" feeling. You won't see many other tourists on the streets, the market is authentic because it's used by the locals and you don't get hassled and the medina is fabulous (walking around the medina walls facing Rabat was a highlight of our trip). We drove so you need to figure out parking in advance (most Medinas in Morocco are pedestrian majority so Google maps can be sketchy). If you use public transport it's a bit of a walk, but...
