"Great hotel in new romney perfect base to get around my room was perfect comfortable bed tea and coffee and a bottle of water waiting for me in my room lovely and warm specially with it being cold outside shower was great and the tv reception was amazing with everything you would want to watch tne pub was great also with a friendly atmosphere the breakfast was brilliant all cooked perfectly by pete the manager i will definitely be staying again so if anyone is looking to stay in the area then stay here its the perfect place to visit this area of Kent "

"Perfect for a family get together, stunning location and views with lots of space for adults and teenagers to hang out together or separately. The 82 inch TV was a massive hit with the teenagers."

"We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for cooking even for 12 people and we loved the fireplace and piano in the main living room. We didn't get out much due to storms over the weekend but the location has good access to Dungeness, Rye, Camber Sands etc. There are nearby shops and pubs in walking distance. Communication was great - Mary was really helpful sending us all the info we needed in advance and Denise was really helpful with our check in and check out and even kindly popped round on our first evening to check we were ok and had everything we needed. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Thanks so much!"

"We hired the house for the weekend for a group of 10 adults and 11 children. The house is incredibly spacious whilst being cozy and comfortable. We all fell in love with the kitchen which had a lovely seating area and pellet burner, a perfect place for a drink and a chat. The house is really well equipped with everything you could imagine needing. Sarah was incredibly helpful and great at communicating. I would highly recommend the house and the area for a weekend away. "

"We had a 2 night stay in the Four Poster Room. The room was lovely and spacious with the bathroom upstairs. All the staff we came across were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were given the option to put any food and drink purchased at the bar and restaurant and pay for everything at the end of our stay. We will definitely stay again."
