The building has lovely windows, with light and views coming in from all angles. The food was delicious, and we were particularly pleased to have a small bottle of real milk in our room. "

"We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for cooking even for 12 people and we loved the fireplace and piano in the main living room. We didn't get out much due to storms over the weekend but the location has good access to Dungeness, Rye, Camber Sands etc. There are nearby shops and pubs in walking distance. Communication was great - Mary was really helpful sending us all the info we needed in advance and Denise was really helpful with our check in and check out and even kindly popped round on our first evening to check we were ok and had everything we needed. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Thanks so much!"

"We hired the house for the weekend for a group of 10 adults and 11 children. The house is incredibly spacious whilst being cozy and comfortable. We all fell in love with the kitchen which had a lovely seating area and pellet burner, a perfect place for a drink and a chat. The house is really well equipped with everything you could imagine needing. Sarah was incredibly helpful and great at communicating. I would highly recommend the house and the area for a weekend away. "

"Directions to caravan were spot on. Caravan was clean, tidy and comfortable and very warm with central heating and lovely fire in living room, which was very welcome as we were staying in October. All the little extras were provided with fresh milk in the fridge. Contact with owner was excellent who went out of her way to ensure our stay was comfortable. Thank you for all you did for us. "Check in easy, location fabulous. Bed comfortable - we slept really well - must be the sea air! The extra touches for our furry friend were spot on - doggy bowls and doggy treats were most welcome. Only very small gripe - we could’ve done with bigger towels but overall what a lovely break we had. "
