"We were 8 adults and loved our stay here. Pool is large and warm. Great accommodation. Good sized table outside for eating at. Very good communication before we went and property manager on hand if we needed anything during the stay. There are some lovely hilltop towns within 30 mins of the property, Arezzo is an hour away and there are restaurants and a supermarket 10 mins away. Can thoroughly recommend!!"

"We had a wonderful stay. The host, Luca, was great to communicate with prior to check in and met us at the property despite our arrival being a bit delayed. He provided a brief history of the area and the farm and gave instructions regarding the property. He also provided recommendations on restaurants and suggestions of where to park in Florence. "Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."

"A relaxing place to stay! The grounds were beautiful and staff was great. I would say that having a car is important if you plan on using this as your home base to explore Tuscany.
