"Everything is perfect! Clean rooms, comfortable beds and sofa, spacious kitchen with any tools you need, and a lovely game room. We enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful views. The host was also very nice and communicative. I would definitely recommend this place!"

"Although set on a farm, the property is close to all of the sites and activities near Charlottesville. The property is an old farmhouse with modern amenities. The owner is next store and is very responsive, but never intrusive. After a day visiting Monticello and a day of hiking, our return to the property was relaxing. The two bedrooms are large and the entire home is nicely appointed. We would definitely return. "

"Our group of seven are members of Coastal Canoeists, in Elkton to canoe/kayak the Shenandoah River plus a Fall club gathering. We enjoyed staying here. Comfortable beds. The owner has done a very good job in renovating this house. Close to Elkton Brewery & restaurants."

"Just as advertised and more! Super clean, comfortable and cute, we loved the cottage. Beautifully decorated and well stocked, they kindly provided additional wood for the fire pit. Check in, communication, and host were simply outstanding. Our only hiccup was handled immediately and professionally. We definitely look forward to staying again. Highly recommend!"

"Overall a very nice clean and convenient location for visiting Charlottesville, VA. FYI the turn into the driveway, when headed east is a steep turn, which can be tricky at night the first time. One thing that would be nice is a compact washer & dryer unit; that said this is an excellent location in a beautiful setting."

"My lifelong friend and I came for a girls weekend in October and this property did not disappoint!! It is an absolutely beautiful place; peaceful and quiet. There were two other groups of guests staying in the other two rentals, but they were all awesome. My only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer. "This little cottage was very clean and cozy. It is far off the road but close to a lot. A great location for Skyline drive. Good eats nearby. I would recommend an SUV, a sedan might bottom out on the road coming in. I gave 4 stars overall because of the latrine.. It is a compost toilet and there is an odor. The flies were bad because of this. Don’t plan to do a lot of cooking. Pots pans utensils were limited. We cooked steaks on the gri and our forks and knives bent trying to cut them. We have...
