Parking on the property is VERY limited and on our arrival from Montreal, there was NO Hotel Parking We were asked to park ACROSS the road, so we had to first unload our luggage at the Hotel, and then park across. With all the road construction in Quebec City, this was very inconvenient The Port Royal is a nice Hotel, esp. with the adjoining restaurant, "Louise" which has very nice decor, ambience and very good service Unfortunately for us, our room overlooked a noisy parking lot that was also under construction We rated this as "average" and would choose another hotel if we were to return

We had a good stay at the Port Royal Hotel in Quebec City. Location is very good, walking distance to many interesting places. At check in we were walked to an annex of the hotel, a former bank across the street, noisy and bad WiFi, but luckily the Front Desk Clerk offered us to move to the main hotel building which was perfect! Everyone at the Front Desk was kind. Rooms are quite large as well as the bathroom. WiFi was efficient and we could work fine. Hotel has its own parking for $25 per night, convenient as it is quite difficult to find parking spaces, so try to leave your car at the hotel and walk. There are some restaurants nearby besides the hotel good restaurant, Louise. Tried Buffet de L’Antiquaire for breakfast and it was very good, 50 meters from the hotel and low cost.

Checked in at 11 pm for my stay without any issues. Staff were very helpful, they even gave me a bus pass for my stay. Kitchenette was decently equipped.Location is perfect for exploring Old Quebec city.
