Property was close for walking to many things for visitor to see…..no elevator and stairs r difficult…. Loved the shower!!!!! Temperature in room hard to keep constant
A good option in the heart of old Quebec. Walking distance to all the sights and restaurants. Can be a bit noisy at night. Bathroom is spacious but lacking any shelf space.
It's right in the heart of old Quebec and has a great view of the Frontenac. You can walk pretty much everywhere from here. A great boutique hotel to stay at if you want to enjoy old Quebec for a few days.
The rooms were "small" but we expected that and it was to our liking. We had minimal contact with staff which is always good and our stay was very pleasant.
Old Quebec feels like a fairy tale. I loved that the Auberge du Tresor is so charming and is located in the heart of the old city. At the same time, I didn't like the location for the same reason. It is tourist central and packed with tour buses and a LOT of people. There are many old inns in the area, and I think that being even a block away would be better. The Auberge is very comfortable, although the sheets were too small and didn't stay tucked in. We had the best meal of our trip in the Bistro 1640. (Braised beef cheeks!)
Hotel close to various entertainment venues and a variety of restaurants. Hotel had a restaurant and bar. Room was very comfortable and clean. Only thing we disliked was no elevator to room levels. But staff helped transport our luggage. Also staff had suggestions for area sights and other eateries. We had a very nice stay and would gladly stay there on our next visit.
We stayed an extra night in Quebec city after our cruise. Loved this quaint hotel with dining below. Very convenient location -walkable to everything in Old Quebec. It is a heritage hotel with lots of stairs, no elevator so not for people with mobility issues.
Right in the heart of all of the city activities. Walk to everything. Most of the local excursions start within the same block.

We love the location of this hotel.
Unfortunately, there's no elevator so You’ll have to tug your luggage upstairs by yourself.
Hot water was not available at night when it was in high demand.

We really liked the location. We never really had much contact with the staff. Was hard carrying our bags up two flights of stairs but no one offered to help even when they saw us. The room was very clean and we loved that we could walk everywhere in such a wonderful city.
The hotel is in a perfect location in the old town, close to everything. The room was clean and all we needed, except would've liked a microwave but no real issue. The view from the window wasn't the best but we were only there to sleep. No problem with noise from the downstairs restaurant/bar. 15 mins walking from the Via Rail staion, although some uphill.
This hotel couldn’t be better placed for a visit to Quebec City. It’s right at the heart of everything. Pre-arrival emails were excellent; full of useful information about arrival and parking which is particularly useful with the hotel being in such a busy area. One email contained a link to Google maps that automatically gave the best route from the hotel to the nearest car park. Our room was small but comfortable, clean and well equipped. All the main tourist attractions are nearby as well as plenty of shops and places to eat. You need to be aware that the hotel doesn’t have an elevator and there are no rooms on the ground floor. Don’t let that put you off, though. The benefits of the location far outweigh this disadvantage.
