Can accommodate a maximum of 8 people. Very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. 3 landscaped terraces, 2 covered and another uncovered. Patio set with swing allowing to take your meals outside. Close to the pool. Feels like Europe
We loved our stay on Ile d'Orleans! This house is situated with a perfect view of the St. Lawrence River. I enjoyed drinking coffee on the front porch each morning watching the freighters sail by! It is a very spacious house, with plenty of room for my family of 5. The kitchen table is very large, nice to be able to spread out. We loved the barn door feature of all the bedrooms. My daughters truly enjoyed the upstairs bedroom with a balcony. This room has very high ceilings, 2 beds, and plenty of space! Each bedroom has their own bathroom, which was nice too. France, the caretaker, was very knowledgeable and helpful, and offered many suggestions. It was wonderful to hear all the people speaking French across the island; everyone was very friendly and accommodating, and willingly switched to English when needed.

Beautiful retreat with wonderful views of the St. Lawrence
The Allemagne cottage that we stayed in was especially well appointed. I wanted a two bedroom cottage as I was traveling with my mother. As the owner of two seasonal rentals, I came away with ideas of what to do with my cottages. While only two of us rented the property, it was readily apparent that six could be most comfortable staying here. Check in and out was easy, France is a wonderful host and quick to respond to our questions. The Ile d'Orleans is a beautiful place to spend a vacation. We hope to return again to enjoy the accommodations, the history and food in this wonderful place.

Comfortable, beautiful space--very family friendly!
We spent a week here and found it a lovely spot. Our younger children said it had "the best playground" and the pool was perfect. Lots of outdoor seating and a beautiful view. With ice cream/restaurant across the street, bakery and grocery store a minute away, it was an ideal location. France and Nancy were very friendly and helpful.

lovely cottage vacation
we loved staying at this cozy and comfortable cottage right off the river. It was quiet and peaceful on the island, while quebec city was a short drive away. Even in winter we found lots to do--skating, dog sledding, ice fishing, and just enjoying the winter landscape. The host was lovely and responsive to all our needs. We would love to come back!
