Wait and see when they’re ready to go…
Newly refurbished, but not quite there.
The room was great - quiet and well appointed.
The new lighting control on one nightstand was functional, but it’s install wasn’t complete. One light seemed to be sound controlled and turned on on its own early every morning.
We also had a problem with the e-check in and bluetooth key system, but that was quickly solved with a phone call and a hard fob.
Our room had direct access to a shared balcony. The space was great for a nightcap and nightlife watching. It is, though, unclear who else will have access to this space. This may be an issue further down the road, if other patrons are loud at night outside this room.
Bathroom and shower were great with good temperature and water pressure. A/C was set at a comfortable temperature throughout our stay.
Access is through the restaurant, and I am not sure how one would gain access after hours.
Also, the hotel and restaurant are under different management. The restaurant also cultivates an “exclusive” feel, so more than once our tired tourist selves got disapproving looks from the hostess stand.
The location is very walkable, with easy access to the Plains of Abraham park. It is a restaurant and entertainment strip, and a longer walk to the old town. A cash-only bodega is nearby for quick needs, but a supermarket is a much further walk.
Fantastic BBQ place just a few doors down.
Caveats in mind, would certainly stay here again.
