"Such a friendly welcome. I arrived very early just wanting to leave my luggage but was immediately given an upgrade to a room that was ready. Everything was spotless a nice spacious room with dining area and kitchenette. The ladies were very friendly and helpful. Definitely would come back again "

"We only stayed one night . The room and view were lovely. Tea and coffee available in room with small refrigerator. There was a little confusion at check in, needed to go next door ; but everything was very quick and the young lady that checked us in was very helpful and very pleasant. My only negative was that the shower was quite small. Everything was very clean. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant just next door. "

"The staff here really saved our trip! We had rented a car in Christchurch for our South Island portion of our trip and unfortunately had a screw wedge into our tire. Over the night we stayed, the tire became flat. We woke up to find this out the next morning, a Sunday, when we were planning to head out of town to our next destination. The manager went out of their way to allow us to check out later AND even posted to the local Facebook group to find a mechanic to help us when all shops were...

"Second time staying here and although the weather was, again, less than great, it was still a great time and the units and overall space are still really well maintained. Surat Bay is accessible and, further along, so is cannibal bay. Owaka nearby is also a lovely spot for an hour or two, with a solid restaurant, great coffee place, superb book shop and quaint little museum and community space. It is a beautiful spot, far from the world where all you'll hear are birds, the sea and wind moving...

"Our room was modern and very clean. All that we required. Loved being able to park outside our door great for unpacking and packing. The bed was comfortable and bedding good. We enjoyed our stay and will return in the future. "
