Spectacular ocean side experience at this stunning 1 bdm home, Qualicum Bay

The fully equiped gourmet kitchen features granite countertops, stainless appliances and BBQ on the deck. New Queen size bed and lovely bathroom with quality linens and towels. High speed wi-fi, 40 inch cable TV, Netflix, DVD, stereo, washer/dryer, air-tight wood fireplace.

So much to do – walk the beach, watch the wildlife, seals, sea lions and eagles, or go for a swim. One of the best fishing beaches on the coast. Parks within 30 minutes drive include: Spider Lake, Horne Lake Caves, Englishman River Falls, Little Qualicum Falls, Rathtrevor Beach, Milner Gardens and Cathedral Grove with its ancient trees. There are numerous golf courses all within 30 minutes drive.

Great seafood abounds in this area. Fresh scallops and oysters from Island Scallops, just two minutes away. Farmer’s markets at Qualicum Beach, Coombs and Courtenay with amazing fresh produce.

The house was perfectly located for daily hikes and eating out at night. The kitchen was well supplied and the house was very clean. The best feature are the wrap around windows in the common area and the outdoor deck.

Amazing place
We've stayed at this cottage many times now. It's an amazing place. The views are fantastic and it's very peaceful. The kitchen is fully equipped-we really appreciate that because we end up doing a lot of cooking when we stayed here. It's such a wonderful view that -aside from going for daily hikes- we spend our time at the cottage.

One couldn’t get much closer to the wonderful Qualicum Bay beach. Loved the sound of the tide coming in, especially on the couple of windy days.

Right on the beach!
Cute little cabin a stone’s throw from the beach. Big windows and high ceilings add to the incredible 180 degree view. Cottage is well stocked with kitchen utensils, bed is comfy, fireplace welcome on chilly November evenings. Host was very accessible and a pleasure to work with.

This home is a peaceful, beautiful little house on the beach. We hated to leave it. The views were awe inspiring and the wildlife watching captivated our attention. The house itself is comfortable and fully stocked. You can’t go wrong with this rental.

Bring your binoculars
A fantastic cabin in a wonderful location. Very well equipped and comfortable. I would recommend that you bring a pair of binoculars to watch the wildlife out on the ocean.

Modern, well-equipped cottage with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and all its glory. The kitchen was so well equpped that we baked a cake and crackers from scratch. Appreciated the diffuser on the hair dryer, too.

Thanks for an awesome time away. The cabin was a great place to just relax and enjoy the location. We did explore the area a little bit but mostly stayed at the cabin as it felt comfortable and you just can’t beat that view. The weather was perfect with temps up to 30 degrees so was able to spend time in the ocean. We appreciate how much Jim cares about the cabin and that he made our stay as comfortable as can be.

Beautiful view and nice cottage
Cottage is very nice and has beautiful views but was surprised at the highway noise that no one else had mentioned. Also, absence of screens on any of the windows or patio doors. Good location and walking distance to Sandbar Cafe (excellent food) and close to other amenities, Qualicum beach and golf courses

Highly recommended
The photos reflect exactly what we received and then some. The quality of the construction, finishes and amenities are high and the view is amazing. A lot of thought has gone into providing, in our opinion, exceptional accommodation. It is centrally located for many day trips. Public access to the beach abuts the property but those using it did not disturb us in any way.
