AN UPDATE TO OUR GUESTS: Beach Croft WAS a pet friendly rental but due to some unfortunate incidents No Longer Accepts Pets of Any Kind or Size. This is a strict rule! If you bring your pet, you will be asked to remove it from the property immediately and if you refuse, you will be denied entrance of your unit and not be given a refund.

We would like to assure you that we are doing our part by ensuring that we are following the general recommendations for routine cleaning and disinfecting of each unit so that you can have peace of mind. We want you to have a relaxing enjoyable stay with us here at the Beach Croft property!

Take your family and spend your vacation on this property, offering a stunning 235 feet of ocean front property and fresh water stream.

Once in a while you become aware of a very remarkable place. The kind of place you thought would no longer exist until you found it. A place to pause and live again in fresh, pure air perfumed by the blending scent of cedar and the sea. We have fresh oysters and clams all year round. Lighthouse Country boasts more than 60 miles of Ocean shoreline and sandy beaches with countless streams and rivers playing host to spawning salmon and native trout. We have excellent drinking water supplied by Qualicum waterworks.


750 square foot Rustic cabin with vaulted ceiling in kitchen; ocean view, short walk on property to beach. A place of genuine friendliness and charm. Bring your own kayaks/canoes and paddle right from the property's beach or, rent some from a local business.

September week stay!
My wife and I and our 2 adult kids had a great stay at the cabin. It had all we needed and being right on the ocean was awesome for beach combing and fishing! Brian and Sarah are great hosts, we will definitely stay here again if we come to the island again!

Great little place
Lovely property with 2 rentals, we stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin. It was everything we needed. Its not ocean front but has a good view of the ocean and plenty of room to enjoy the beach. The resident caretakers Sarah and Brian were fabulous hosts. Bring ear plugs traffic can be nousy.

A week by the sea
We loved our time here! It is such a magical little place and we made so many memories that we’ll always cherish. The cabin itself was spacious and suited our family of four perfectly. The green space outside of the cabin and, of course, the seashore just provided a wonderful setting for our two young children. Brian and Sarah (the caretakers further down the shore) were so helpful and kind. We were trying to escape Florida and it’s heat and could not have picked a better place! Thank you for sharing your special piece of paradise with us!

Explore Qualicum Bay
We were very pleased with the cabin and the property. A lovely view from our dining room table. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Bowser was worth a visit: Tomm's Food Village is a good grocer, the coffee shop very nice and the two gift shops were interesting. Qualicum Beach is not too far from the cabin and is a lovely town.

My getaway
I have a busy life, I came to the cabin to rejuvenate myself. This cabin was the answer to relax, get centered, and most of all recharge. My experience was excellent. The cabin was clean, close to the beach, quiet, relaxing. Sarah and Bryan were the perfect hosts. I would recommend this cabin and I do plan on going back. Thank you again for a perfect holiday. Great Beach location
Property managers Bryan and Sarah were great, very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The location is steps from the beach and it is wonderful! The cabin isn't fancy, but it was clean and perfect for our family of 5, to stay in and enjoy days playing in the ocean. A great vacation all around 😊

Wonderful oceanfront stay!
We were traveling to consider options for senior care close to family and have an opportunity for my elderly friends to reconnect with their families. This location was a perfect place for them to do this together in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. The grandchildren came to us and joined us for a family BBQ. Dawn and Jeff were welcoming and friendly. The cabin was well equipped and senior friendly with ramp access and parking in front. Everyone was able to rest well for each days activities. The warm, clear ocean water made for a glorious swim, shell collecting and a beautiful morning coffee overlooking the little private beach.

Amazing vacation spot
We throughly enjoyed our time at this oceanfront property and will definitely try to come again. The hosts and owners were very welcoming and friendly, and the location was fantastic. We sat on the beach and watched seals playing in the water, and were treated to beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed biking and jogging on the Lighthouse Trail which is located nearby. There are a few restaurants/cafes and an ice cream shop in the near vicinity as well. It is a very peaceful spot which we would recommend to anyone!

Fun times
The location is quite close to Qualicum Beach, beaches, tourist attractions and various trails. The beach is nice and small within a few steps of the smaller cabin. The first few days the tide was high and not able to beach walk however it did finally go out allowing for nice long beach walks. Would recommend for anyone wanting to get away from it all

Very nice property right on the ocean, owners of the property are very friendly and insightful on tourist spots to check out. property management were very pleasant to deal with. Being from alberta we have different garbage and recycling programs, and they politely reminded us of the requirements there. All around had a very pleasant stay.

The perfect getaway cabin.
The cabin was rustic but very comfortable. Great beds and 2 lazy boy rockers! The kitchen was well-equipped. We enjoyed our walks on the beach. Nearby are several great eateries. Dawn was friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful place to stay! Clean and spacious for two couples with large bedrooms ample kitchen, well stocked with pots, pans, etc. Large living room and dining area, laundry facilities and storage space. Check in was easy and Dawn was great to work with. Beach views and easy access down to the water. BBQ and deck with furniture and fire pit access. Lovely place to stay and reasonable prices. Thoroughly enjoyed this location and highly recommend.

Pretty and clean spot
We enjoyed nearly everything about the cabin and location. Kitchen is very well equipped, beds very comfortable, property is very clean as well as pretty with flowers and view. The manager is pleasant and helpful. The price is appropriate for the property. The only thing the description does not say is that the property is near the road. Traffic sounds may not disturb most folks, however we did notice it.

Perfect for our family
A great location and property. We love the area because there is so much for kids (ours are currently 7, 4 & 1) to do. It was a big bonus to have some yard space and the beach accessible directly from the cabin. The grounds are shared between a couple of dwellings but no one minded our kids making a little daytime noise :) The cabin was perfectly adequate. It had everything we needed- we especially appreciated the ample amount of towels and linens provided. It’s a little dated in decor but that’s the way we like it- we don’t have to keep the kids off the furniture or away from any breakables! As previous reviewers have noted, the cabin is bigger than it appears in photos. The bedroom are quite large and we easily accommodated the baby’s playpen in our room. Overall a great stay. We hope to be back!

Lovely place, very clean and well-kept. Suits 4-5 people with 2 queen beds (separate bedrooms) and one fold down couch in living room. Beautiful shoreline to explore, nice restaurants nearby.

Home away from home
We stayed here last August 2021. And I must say that we really enjoyed our stay here. Hosts are very accommodating, (thank you! Dawn and Leo) the place is very clean, beds and beddings are very comfortable. The place is also a few steps to the beach and a restaurant. Maybe just to make it more perfect next time I would suggest to put an exhaust in the washroom. ( it has a window that let in fresh air though) and a sign in the gate so it will be more noticeable where the gate is. That's all other than that it's perfect. Everything is there, just bring your foods and clothes and enjoy. We'll definitely be back.
