A modern cozy cottage in your own wooded backyard located mid Vancouver Island.

Come visit Qualicum Beach located on beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada.
Rest and enjoy in your own private suite and patio; semi attached to back of main house residence. Nestled within a 2 1/2 acre lot, surrounded by woods, hiking /bike trails, creek and a pond. An oasis in nature but close to town amenities, golfing and minutes away from the beach.
-All linens, laundry, Netflix & 58" TV, fast 300Mbps WiFi, gas BBQ, ample private parking included. Unfortunately due to local ordinance we can no longer offer a stove but have provided a hot plate and toaster oven.

Beyond the Expected
Anyone looking for a great stay on Vancouver Island should consider this wonderful place. Located on quiet cut de sac up against a forest, this cottage is outfitted with all the comforts of home, i.e., complete kitchen, modern appliances, comfy beds, and clean as a whistle. The hosts we're prompt and cooperative in permitting me to charge the electric car overnight, which was a big help. Loved it!

Quality Accommodations
The owners of this vacation cottage thought of absolutely everything to ensure our stay was perfect. Everyone of our needs were met in what was available and supplied. The rooms are all spacious and the outside patio area was like your own private backyard. This was probably the best VRBO property we have ever stayed at.

Fantastic stay for our family
We just got home from a lovely week long stay at this beautifully furnished cottage. We would 100% stay there again next time we visit Qualicum Beach. It had all the amenities needed, was spacious for our family of four and had a fantastic backyard for the kids to run around. Geraldine and her family are the most welcoming hosts - we can’t wait to come back soon!

Beautiful, private, comfortable cottage, with everything that you could possibly need. Excellent base for visiting the island. As soon as we arrived we relaxed and really enjoyed our stay. We met the owners once and they were very friendly and ensured we were settling in.

Tranquil Retreat
This property is located in a very quiet, forested property. It is new construction with a high level of finish and the accommodations are very comfortable and well laid out for guests. The hosts are easy to contact and they are very helpful if you have any questions.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation in a very quiet neighbourhood. Geraldine was great to deal with and everything was as advertised. We were visiting family in the area during our stay, who, after seeing the cottage, said they would be recommending it to other guests that came out to visit them. We will definitely stay again!

The Perfect Vacation Rental!
Geraldine’s suite is the PERFECT place to relax while on vacation. What an absolutely beautiful spot to stay. It was quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Amazing getaway
Stayed for the week and was as lovely as the last time. The cottage was clean, cozy, and quiet. This is an amazing place that is central to so many attractions. Close to the beach. Top of the line VRBO. Geraldine was amazing and helpful after such a long 2 days of travel. So great....hard to put into words.....just have to stay here!!!

Overall we had a great stay. Kitchen is well stocked and the entire unit is new and clean. The knives were even sharp! Both beds are firm! I would have preferred it being closer to the beach or being in a more walkable area.

Exactly what we were looking for
We were looking for a nice quiet place to unwind and we found it! Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and Claymore cottage was perfect with everything we could think we might need. Cleanliness was a 10⭐️ beds were firm with no sagging. The whole experience was a 10 star rating. Thanks so much to Geraldine and Kris we look forward to coming back to stay again

Relaxing and homey
Geraldine's property was an absolute joy to stay in, very clean and homey, with plenty of amenities so we were comfortable and able to easily cook at the accommodation. The property backing onto a forest was so relaxing, to look out onto while having a wine or reading a book in front of the fire. Geraldine provided excellent instructions for how to get to the accommodation and use the amenities. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

We came to Qualicum on a sad trip so it was so comforting to have such a lovely clean place to stay. Geraldine was an excellent host and has outfitted her place with great detail and care. I am an extremely fussy person so when I say this place was top notch it really is. The best part is the location. My husband and I strolled about and found a beautiful old train bridge and pathway to the water. Thank you so much for making our trip as good as it could possibly be.

Amazing Place to Stay
This is the first time using a vacation rental property and this amazing place has definitely set the bar high for further stays anywhere else. The check in and check out processes were easy. The personal touches were unbelievable. The space was perfect and wonderfully quiet to wind down at the end of the day. The back patio was nice to BBQ and relax. The rabbits in the yard were fun to watch and the night before we left 2 deer walked through the woods just meters of the back patio. The place went above and beyond our expectations. The place is private and quiet - a definite must try for a vacation on Vancouver Island!
