Debbie was available whenever I had occasion to contact her and was always very friendly. The purpose of my trip was to visit family. The only concern was the availability of hot water at the kitchen sink but I did contact Debbie regarding this and she said that she would have a plumber look at this issue. "The property is designed for the view of the river - and for good reason. It's a beautiful view, while we were there the salmon were leaping and eagles swooped past. Inside the property is nicely decorated with only a few small issues. Outside the property does look a bit shabby but this does not impact on the quality of the stay at all. Not enough hot water for a decent bath and slow communications with the host."

"First visit to Campbell River. Place was perfect for my needs. Comfortable, great yard/view, walkable to waterfront. Owner very welcoming. On my own this time but hope to return with partner for longer visit. Definitely recommend this property. "

"We stayed here as 2 family's with young children (2yrs, 4yrs & 5yrs) its in a lovely location with lots of opportunities to get outdoors (on the beach and a large garden).The house is nice and roomy for lots of people. The communal areas are nicely laid out for sociallising. "What a gem! Calm water, crabs everywhere, porpoises out the window. It is a classic Canadian cabin, just like in lake country, except without the mosquitoes but with salmon right outside. We managed to get there in a small open boat (our big one was out of commission) by doing a deal with nearby April Pt Marina."
