"Before arriving I was in email contact with Joseph, the concierge whom answered every question, arranged a van from the hotel. During the trip our companion broke her wrist and was ambulance driven to the hospital where her and her husband sat in Limbo for 4 hours. I called Joseph whom explained while healthcare was good in Malta, the state run hospital was short handed and could be a full day disaster; instead he suggested a private hospital we switched to whom triaged, xrayed, diagnosed and cast her arm in 2hours total! Joseph made a bad situation so much better. Sunny and the breakfast staff were stellar as was the maids, grounds keepers and Amy in reception whom we purchased a very fair priced upgrade for the room. We have traveled all over the world and this property was perhaps the best we had ever been. It wasn’t the fancy stone, spacious rooms, beautiful pools though they were certainly present; it was the people who made the difference. "Malta is an exceptional country. This hotel, while not in Valletta proper, is on a number of bus routes. Malta has no train so all transportation is by bus or ferry. It's very easy. The hotel is terrific. No complaints. "

"Everything perfect. Stayed a few times before and still perfect. Staff the friendlies ive had in all the years ive been going to Malta. Maybe the staff on the outside bar could smile a bit 😄but it didnt bother us .First class from the reception staff especially Hicham, that sorted out a little problem straight away. Lovely man. Hotel was absolutely spotless, and considering how full the hotel was hats off to each and every one .Room was cleaned every day with again lovely staff .Hopefully it wont be our last stay at the brilliant hotel ,even though we are both in our seventies now ."
