"Hotel is beautiful and staff are helpful very secure but surrounding neighborhood is rough. If you only stay in the hotel and take Ubers you will be fine. I would not recommend walking in this area. Restaurant for breakfast in lobby area and rooftop are excellent with good food and great service. Great views of the Nile. "

"Beautiful hotel with great facilities- pool, range of restaurants, gym, hairdressers and spa. The breakfast was plentiful and all freshly prepared, definitely worth getting. Staff were very friendly and helpful, however service was breakfast slow and often staff forgot your requests. We travelled around Cairo using Ubers as the hotel services were far too expensive but I think that is to be expected with a 5* hotel. We felt very safe in the hotel, thorough checking of all guests into the hotel. However, there wasn’t a lot of shops/ restaurants in walking distance to the hotel, just a lovely park. "

"Simply perfect! Every single staff member is friendly, accomodating and helpful. The hotel was very comfortable and quality of the service provided exceptional. Restaurant options are wonderful! I also highly recommend their breakfast - the buffet offers absolutely anything you'd need. The The gym is also very well equipped. The only point for the ladies is that I do not recommend the beauty salon in Beyman (attached to the hotel). The manicurist was rude, their nail polish collection does not seem to be of good quality and the hygiene was poor. "

"I stayed in the seven floor Cleaning stafe did a great job Keeping the room clean And provide me with hour daily needs Elevators were easy to get to Breakfast was good Issue was with the shower It shift from hot to cold as maybe The mixture was not mixing good So aster I set the temp It will shift from warm to very hot Then to very cold then it stay at worm for two min then very very hot for second then vey cold for second and so on I called maintenance they cam and check But it stayed the same The issue was when it switch to hot it can burn Thanks "

"This is luxury defined. The room was well decorated, stocked with amenities, and clean. The many many staff are courteous, eager to help, and willing to try to solve any problem you present. The food is five star and the Lebanese cuisine at Aura is the best I’ve ever had. For a Westerner, the prices are somewhat low for restaurants and even a bit lower than average for a night in a comparable hotel. A dollar goes a long way here."
