"It was our 1st time in Aix-en-Provence, and we didn't know what to expect regarding the city and moving around. We searched for a clean place with a kitchenette and parking facilities, so we could drive to different places. This hotel is not centric to the city, as it would take about 10-15 minutes driving by some backroads to get to the center of Aix and then finding a parking garage nearby. Rooms are kind of small. There is not an elevator, so the luggage has to be lifted through the stairs....

"This was a great location for our trip around Aix en Provence. Super friendly and helpful staff, we only communicated online and with the check in being so easy, we felt at home right away. My partner and I stayed for a weekend to travel to Marseille and local areas, we had a hire car so the parking availability was perfect. In the end we really appreciated the value of this stay and the quiet location where it was. The room was everything we needed for our weekend adventure, somewhere to relax...

"Location was good, about 25 mins (mainly uninspiring) walk from the historic centre. Car parking was free outside, or €5 inside. Bed comfortable, good shower. Kitchenette area was perfect if you're looking to have your own food, as we were. Staff friendly."

"The apartments are clean and functional, they have everything you need to a basic stay, cooking and cleaning! The property and facilities are alittle dated and our shower riser didn’t work so we had to balance the shower head to clean! The beds were reasonably comfy and they do also provide duvets should you wish! Was far too hot for me when we stayed. On checking in the staff did speak alittle English which made checking in easier as my French isn’t great! There is a communal washer and drier...

"We travelled for the RWC and check in time was 1500. We turned up and the rooms weren't ready and the receptionist had to personally go and check each room individually. It took nearly 30 mins to check in and there were c.20 people waiting behind us. They were simply not ready for a large number of people turning up. Rooms were basic but clean and there was little noise outside of the hotel and with a metro station outside location was good "

"The location was very close to old center of city where there were many options to dine into shop. We were lucky to have a kitchen so we went to the fresh market on Tuesday to purchase vegetables and made a delicious dinner."

"Had a family room on the top floor with a large balcony. Room very clean and spacious. Corridors a little run down but no problem really. Staff welcoming, helpful and friendly. Bed very comfortable, room quiet. Blackout curtains, good kitchenette with fridge, microwave and dishwasher. We did not have breakfast. Close to town and bus and rail. Bowling accross street. Street parking reasonable. Would stay again"

"We really loved the unique decor of the hotel. The room was a good size, the hotel was very clean overall, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also appreciated available parking within their gated premises. Entry was a bit tricky, mostly because it right off a traffic circle and as our auto navigation tried to take us around the back where you cannot get in. Only negative is there are very few restaurants within walking distance."

"The property was not the best. There were some issues with cleanliness (dirty shelves, stains on bed and toilet was not cleaned well), and some issues with what was detailed on expedia website (issues with expedia not detailing necessary information for booking). Concern re metal shutters on the windows and doors when we arrived, which was not detailed on the expedia website. Would not recommend unfortunately. However, expedia team were very helpful and had excellent communication"

"Great location. Walking distance to everywhere. The host is very kind and helpful. He helped me check train schedules and gave me valuable information for my trip. And he is a very understanding person who even forgave me for late notice of leaving. I thank him very much!"

"Noone around to take my bags when arrived. It was before checkin but had to find the number and get a call back after they didn't answer (within 'available' hours). Once they phoned back they were accomodating but the person who met me didn't speak English as advertised, and didn't have correct change for tourist tax, so had to pay later. The bed which seemed to be covered in a towel (how I imagine a brothel) and had a huge crater-like dip in the middle. Like an elephant had tried to sleep in...
