"At first I was sort of nervous because of the great price I got for my room, but as I walked in, the inside to check in was stunning. My room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The shower was great and hot. Now, this hotel is absolutely perfect for families with children. The amount of amenities was amazing. The pool was super clean I can almost see my reflection, I was appalled on how clean the pool was, the jacuzzi was just right and super comfy. The gym was bigger than any other hotel I’ve been at, the basketball court is a great amenity as well. The bar/dining area has a great amount of choices from dinner & drinks to desert. Although I only stayed because of the snow storm and was close to work, this place was def a 10/10. "

"The historic part of the hotel is as you would expect small. I recommend staying in the newer buildings. We stayed in the infamous Room 40 of the historic section. It’s definitely a bit creepy and is allegedly haunted. It features a huge antique King size sleigh bed. Great for couples. We didn’t see any ghosts, but the desk got complaints that we were moving furniture around and the TV was loud. Neither of which was true. "

"The breakfast was really good and had a good variety. The bed was very comfortable and the cable had pretty good channels for entertainment. I didn’t get to use the pool but it seemed really nice as well. For the price was very reasonable "

"I have stayed here a few times. Staff is very friendly, indoor pool is heated, several different breakfast options. Will continue to stay here when I am in Plainfield. "
