"Returned to this property a second time for a large family gathering and once again it didn't disappoint. The house and grounds are so well kept. Both adults and kids can be entertained as well as feeling relaxed. The memories that have been made from our visits often come up in conversation and now we've more to reminisce. "A wonderful location for a last minute short break. The Barn was exactly what we needed and as described. We could happily sit and look at the Views and sunset from the garden / patio, whilst relaxing. Walking possible direct from the Barn and easy access to loads of places to visit across the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Great communication from host. We highly recommend & I am sure we will rebook. Thank you."

"Eight members of our family spent a lovely long weekend at Riversdale Lodge to celebrate two 80th birthdays and everyone had a fantastic time. The house is lovely and in a gorgeous setting - we felt totally relaxed immediately on arrival. The beds are very comfortable, the communal spaces inside and out were spacious and everything needed was provided. We spent much of our time outdoors; the garden provided everything to keep our grandgirls happy - a warm pool, a zip wire and a trampoline -...

"The house and cottage was perfect for our family reunion of 12 and 2 little ones. Bathroom and shower/tub in every room! Kitchen and Dining area and seating for 18 inside and out was perfect. Amazing kitchen with plenty of dishes and all possibly needed to cook large meals. Three sitting rooms with fireplace and wood provided Games, books, puzzles, game room, outside badminton and soccer. Best VRBO! Views amazing!"

"We stayed over the August BH weekend and had a fabulous time. Cathy and David were great hosts. Cathy gave loads of information and David kindly took us all to feed their sheep and chickens which our 9 year old niece and 3 year old daughter loved. We had a BBQ with a beautiful view and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is very secluded down a Some single track roads but the views make up for it!"

"Clive & Karen were great hosts and gave a us a great welcome. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The bungalow was very clean, tidy, well equipped and in very neat and tidy well kept gardens. "The most gorgeous house and setting. Extremely well equipped kitchen, hot tub and pool a delight. Bedrooms and bathrooms well appointed, modern and fresh. Gardens very attractive lots of places to sit together or to find a quiet spot.Cannot praise it enough, we were three generations who all enjoyed every aspect. Lots to do locally, would love to still be there."
