Got the view we paid for of the steaming geysers however was expecting a more modern room with newer amenities eg. glass shower instead of bath shower with curtain. Buffet breakfast was the highlight, everything was incredible and staff were lovely. "

"King bed room was newly refurbished and immaculate. Good view of lake. Only problem was layout. Settee was placed on same wall as tv so you couldn't watch tv from settee, only from bed. Elderly people would appreciate a seat. Bathroom excellent with large shower and demisting mirror. Pool is great, but a rail on steps would be a help when getting out. We used car charger for our ev. "It is one of the most expensive motel I have ever booked. It does have everything you can think of as a motel. We are very satisfied what we had expected to have! It is a great place to stay!"

"We enjoyed staying at Prince’s Gate Hotel. The on-site hot springs with three pools in the hotel garden were the best treat. We had a one-bedroom apartment for the two of us, which felt quite spacious, although the kitchen facility was bare minimum. "We stayed here for one night on our road trip. Although we loved the hotel, location and room, the parking charges of $59 a night seemed very excessive. This is Valet Parking only. Yes, you do have the option to park on the local roads, but as this is only free between 5pm and 9am, you would need to pop out early and pay if checking out later as we were.
