"The rooms are very large - I could easily have slept in the walk-in closet - and the kitchen on site was very convenient. The hotel is set back quite a ways from the road and the site is quiet. The owner was lovely and let me borrow a garden hose after our rental car got covered in volcano debris - very much appreciated, and definitely above and beyond!"

"Very quiet setting. We stayed in the Wolfie Suites, which were very clean and had a nice sitting room in addition to the bedroom. Very comfortable beds. There are no staff on the premises and you have to check in at a store which is a few minutes drive away. They prefer to know in advance exactly what time you expect to arrive for check in. Location only a mile from the park entrance was great."

"Our cute yellow bedroom was adorable. We spent evening hours out on the lanai - Reading out on the lanai was so relaxing! Listening to all the nightly chirping was cool. Emma cooked wonderful breakfasts that started our days eating upstairs on their outdoor patio. Carl shared all the fruits around their home that Emma used. "We stayed in the Kilauea condo, which is surrounded by tropical rain forest. Very romantic. Carlos prepared a nice breakfast for the two days that we stayed. We were blessed to be there one night when Kilauea erupted. The manager texted us and we were among the first people there. Amazing experience. The only negative is that the wifi is limited so download anything you want to watch before you come or enjoy the view and read a book"

"The size was a little small for 4 people. We weren’t there long so we managed. Available Parking spots were not easy to get near the condo. Also I was missed that there were stairs in the condo. The location was a bit of a drive to some sites. The condo property was landscaped very nicely and was very close to the ocean, Black Sand & a delicious bakery. "

"Unit was ok but not handicapped accessible to go to room and bathroom with wheelchair, door small client blind and amputation leg. We did manage his care while staying there. I wish I could say for vacation but it was for my daughter’s funeral and that was a healing process. Thank you all. Overall very convenient for us the paina was at the big Punalu’u beach park. Overall this is a nice place to just relax, thank you all"
