"My family was in desperate need of a Thanksgiving away. We had high hopes when booking this secluded cabin and those hopes were met and exceeded. We so greatly enjoyed all we could of the outdoor spaces, even with a cold front blowing through. And the interior was very comfortable and more spacious than we expected. This property is out in the country and the many bugs anxious to escape the cold air into the house reminded us of that. Some elements of the cabin are dated, some light switches...

"My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary of when we meet with this rental of a cabin in the woods! It was very cozy and we enjoyed it so much. The beds were great. The porch was nice. The couch was terrible. I would suggest investing in a comfortable couch for guests who like to chill and watch tv! But we made it work and were glad to have this place to stay for the weekend. The owners communicated with us very well. "

It was even decorated for Christmas when we got there which was an unexpected bonus. We were greeted multiple mornings by the deer right off the porch and every day around sunset the birds would flock back to the trees. At night you can hear the river going by and the sky is as clear as I remember seeing it in years. The owners were very accommodating...
