"This is a beach stay, so sand is everywhere. I enjoy walking barefoot, and spent most of the time with sandy feet. The locals also pay to be part of the resort ocean access, so it added enjoyable local color. This stay was an enjoyable Philippines ocean stay."

"The diving was awesome ... something new every dive. Guides (Ace) were very skilled and spotted all the things we wanted to see on our muck diving treasure hunts. Resort staff and manager were super friendly and sorted a couple of our trips outside the property. Trip to Oslob went well with total round trip 6am to 1pm and no wait in any queue to see those wonderful whale sharks. Another day trip to the Baslay hotsprings we did by scooter, what fun! "Lovely little place. Very small so if you’re looking for a big hotel with lots of facilities it won’t be for you. But the room was great, big, good air con, comfortable bed etc. and very nice people, reasonably priced food and drink etc. overall for the price I was very much surprised on the upside and would definitely recommend. However some rooms are quite small so I’d recommend paying a tiny bit extra for one of the bigger rooms if they’re available. We had room 10 and it was lovely."

"This is my favorite place to stay in Dumaguete. Staff go the extra mile to accommodate guests' needs; rooms are comfortable; complimentary breakfast is excellent; location is close to downtown. The two most significant 'negatives' are: location next to several schools results in heavy traffic, especially between 3-6 PM. Also, water pressure in rooms is somewhat weak and water temperature lukewarm."

"I was very pleased with my stay her at Charo's. They offer free breakfast with your stay here. The Wi-Fi works good and the place is very quiet. There's a laundry mat place that can wash your cloths near by if your needing this kind of service. I enjoyed my stay here and plan on staying again when return."
