"The lakes motel is probably our favorite place that we stayed during our whole trip! Everything is clean, the rooms have been redone... The bed was AMAZING and so was the shower, had we known we would have such a lovely stay, we would have booked a longer stay. The staff is just lovely and welcoming, offering tips and help, we felt great here.. We will definitely return! "

"Only got to stay 1 night but we were really happy with Mantra Lake Tekapo. We had a large 2 storey house with 3 spacious rooms and good bedding options. I was impressed that it was the first place, we've stay on our entire trip, that had 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets! Much needed for a family of 5 or more. The pool was unfortunately closed for maintenance but the Tekapo Pools were not far up the road and had great views. The lake itself and main shops is close by, easy walking. So pretty! Dining is limited but a few options and there is a good grocery store there too. "
