"This was an emergency stay for us as our home had been flooded and insurance was paying. It was close to where we live so we were able get back home quickly to help with the clean up. So it was not a holiday but an excellent place to stay under the circumstances. Loved the bathrooms."

"The property is exactly as shown in photos not a lot of room outside for the dog but it has a small fenced area so ok for little dogs. Very close to other houses but is quiet will need the car to get supplies. Surprised only one tv but loads of games for kids. Nice beds but a little hard. For the price it’s very expensive as just stayed at Waiheke and got a heated swimming pool and spa included for almost the same price Matakana is expensive and no beach views or country outlook. The decor was excellent and all the appliances were both good quality and in excellent condition.There were lovely touches like milk in the fridge butter, and other breakfast spreads as well as tea and coffee and basic cooking supplies.When we did have a minor issue, the host resolved it immediately and communicated with us excellently.
