"The unit was clean and spacious. Central location in the historical district. Near bus. stops and the train station. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The only complaints that we have is that the bathroom sink drain was very slow and it took about 3 days and a few reminders to fix it. That was very inconvenient. Also, no hand towels or dish towels. The first few days the towels were locked up too."

"This apartment was exactly what one would expect when staying in Lucca. It had the old charm of Italy. The terrace was spectacular! We spent as much time as possible sipping wine and having dinner on it. The kitchen was well furnished for cooking even large meals. The only con to staying here is the stairs. Carrying luggage up five flights of stairs was brutal. This place is not for anyone who has knee or hip issues. This apartment would be a 5+ if the building had a lift."

"My friend and I had a nice stay at OROROSA Lucca City Center Apartment but I am happy we were only 2 of us as 4 or 6 people in there would not have been comfortable. Please also note the apartment was advertised with 2 bathrooms - that is not true - the apartment has got 2 toilets but not 2 bathrooms - there is only one shower. "This is a beautiful property out of the busyness of Florence. Peaceful and quiet with beautiful views of the valley where you are perched on the side of a hill. Although it was too cold to use the pool it would be a great addition to any stay during the warmer months. There is a bit of a drive but we’ll worth it.
