L’Abbazia di Montecassino is a beautiful abbey just a short taxi or bus ride from the town of Cassino. Founded by St. Benedict in 529 AD on the remains of a Roman heathen worship site. Beautiful views of the surrounding towns in Frosinone, Lazio and a ton of history. It was truly a serene experience.

"This is the second time I’ve stayed there, the first time for my cousins. It’s a lovely B&B, beautiful views of Rome in the distance. Walkable to the center of town very safe and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I can’t say enough for this lovely place to stay in Tivoli. Bellissimo!"

"Il B&B Rupe Antica si è rivelato una sistemazione conveniente e a tratti piacevole dopo una gita al vicino parco Rainbow Magicland. La location è affascinante, anche se un poco scomoda da raggiungere con bagagli voluminosi; la vista dalla piazza circostante è molto bella, nel resto dei dintorni c'è "solo" il vecchio paese. "My biggest issue was the cold shower at 10pm...one of the staff blamed it on the water heater. The interior of the B&B was not heated (in November). Most of the staff were far from friendly. The 8 euro breakfast consisted of something like banana bread and instant cappuccino out of a machine. "

"Very nice stay in this quaint b&b, comfortable and very clean, nice little breakfast to start the day as well. Very walkable to town for plenty of dining options. Would definitely recommend !"

"Wir konnten nicht in der Unterkunft schlafen, da sie trotz Bestätigung von Hotels com ausgebucht war. Wir erhielten ein anderes Zimmer ohne Fenster und Möbeln zum gleichen Preis. Wir konnten nicht duschen, weil kein warmes Wasser vorganden war. "

"This was a small hotel in a small town in Italy but big on comfort and assistance. As we did not ha a hire car and there are no taxis the owners picked us up from the station and took us wherever we needed to go while in the town. They were warm and welcoming and we would highly recommend them!!"

"I stayed at Dell'Artista for eight days, the entire duration of my stay was pleasant. The view is extraordinary, the people in tne village were all nice. Everything is clean and well kept. "
