"The front desk staff were amazing! Very friendly, helpful, and informative. We had a room on the street so it was a bit noisy. Ask for a room off of the street. The room was huge with a lovely seating area. Breakfast was very nice. We would stay here again!"

"We loved this property. Located in the beautiful countryside of Pergusa, La Casa del Poeta is a great place to unwind after a day of site seeing. It is centrally located between Enna and Piazza del Romano and only an hour from Agrigento and the Valley of Temples. The host, Guiliana, was wonderful sharing information about the area and providing recommendations for food, sights and travel. The breakfast is included with lots of options to choose from. We will definitely be staying here again...

Another guest had a cold, I assume, and we listened to him blow his nose (or honk it) vigorously for hours. Same with toilet flushing, teeth brushing and shaving. We could hear it all. "The room was large, decor was interesting and overlooking the garden/pool area (although you cannot see the pool from the room). Dinner was great at €30 per person. The property is very pretty in a quiet area although quite close to the main road so you can still hear the cars. We were given towels for the pool. And the pool is very nice, and gorgeous at sunset. There was a bad smell coming from the ensuite. The AC was very noisy (crackling and popping sounds all through the night) that woke us...

"This is a lovely property in a charming area of old town. Parking is off site about a 10 minute walk. Our host was very informative about how to drop bags and get to parking. He was very helpful with info about the area and dining suggestions. Rooms are up stairs, no elevator."
