"The greatest part of this hotel besides the amazing staff ( Jake, Zach and Bridget ) was the history of the property, not realizing the name of the property White Star Tavern was associated to the Titanic, Every were in the hotel where pictures and historical facts of the Titanic and the White Star shipping company. "We stayed at the 'cottage' part of the hotel (converted garage at the back of the main building) which was perfectly fine once we found it - we checked in after the reception closed and the directions were not 100% clear. We phoned the night guard who was very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean enough, apart from some random cardboard left in the bin. "The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a family lunch for my Mums 93rd birthday and everyone was so helpful and obliging. The only downside for us was the street noise early in the morning. When we stay again we will be requesting a room at the back of the hotel. We struck lucky in that the group Hot Fuzz were playing on the Saturday night and they were excellent."

"Great staff and it was a good location for my specific trip and easy access to Test River trout fishing spots. The coop grocery store a block away was convenient. Breakfast at White Hart was excellent. Dinner was good too. Some road noise in the large room I had due to exposure to road, but I still slept well on comfy bed. Simple things, could have really benefited from 2 comfortable chairs in the spacious bedroom, so as to enjoy the lovely gin provided.
