"Very quiet and nice layout, well sound insulated from pub, accommodating with late check in from visiting a gig and good onsite parking set back from the road, as two young women we felt very safe and undisturbed during our visit. "Staff were very helpful, polite and efficient. Our room was very tired, crack in washbasin, top of tap missing. The beds were incredibly comfortable and beautiful clean bed linen. 4 of us stayed at The Nags Head and our friends room had been updated and was very smart. We did not eat at the pub, so can’t comment on meals. On the whole we had a very pleasant stay. "

"Hisoric building crammed with antiques and curios assembled by a previous owner over many years. Creaking staircases and corridors set one in mind of the 1950's. But the bedrooms are clean, modern and well-designed, the staff are super friendly, the pub is a lot of fun to be in, and the breakfast is very good. Plus the cathedral and school are on the doorstep...and free car parking is a boom."
