"Property was quite upmarket, but guests were not made to feel uneasy about this.My only quibble would be why they took a pending payment from my card on arrival, but then on checkout took the payment to settle our bill but the first payment was still pending on our bank account two days later. Who was holding that money in meantime."

"Really late deal for me and my daughter. Staff were all fab, everyone we met was very accomodating. Pool and room were very tired, rotted skirtings and pool tiles lose in pool (my daughter made it a game to collect them). That said, food was amazing and bed very comfy. "

"Unfortunately they are renovating the restaurant so limited menu in the bar. Also had to change lunch to another restaurant as they were drilling so too noisy. This will be finished in a few days though, and as I have stayed here before I know this is not normal and I will certainly continue to stay at the Priory and would recommend it. "

"Beautiful scenery, it snowed when we were there and it was so pretty. Staff helpful and friendly and our food was great. Dog loved the stay too. The 4 poster bedroom was huge, bed so comfy we had a great sleep."
