The Space:
The VIV is a year-round bungalow cottage tucked away on a quiet lane among five other cottages at the shore of Lake Ontario in the heart of Wellington, Prince Edward County. This most unusual, tranquil spot feels like a hotel suite offering a spectacular panoramic view of the lake from the front deck with Wellington beach and Sandbanks Provincial Park in the distance.
Ideal for a couple or a couple and two children (see Notes section for bed size). Around the corner from favourite spots - La Condesa, The Parlour Studio, Midtown Brewery, Sybil Frank Gallery, The Drake Devonshire, Ideal Bike rentals and the Festival Players Studio Theatre.
The VIV offers a fully equipped kitchen, small bar, dining area, living room, a bedroom with a queen size bed, a second bedroom with two twin beds and a small four piece bathroom. Bedding, bed and bath linens are provided.
The new kitchen is fully equipped and the BBQ will get you outdoors and out of the kitchen. Enjoy the garden and dining area behind the cottage or a game of bocce in the new bocce pit. The VIV has private parking in the driveway. Complete with a SMART television, free WIFi and a beach pass, all you need are your personal items, beach towels and a plan to do as you want.
The VIV is a well-loved waterview escape from the city. We look forward to sharing it with you.

The Neighborhood:
Prince Edward County is a very special place. You may find yourself here one weekend, falling in love and moving permanently, a large number of people have. Affectionately known as "The County" the area is comprised of small villages and hamlets scattered amongst farm fields and quaint shops. Located in Lake Ontario you will fall in love with the people, the food, nature, and art. The area hosts 3 provincial parks and over 800km of shoreline.
Getting Around:
Visiting Prince Edward County does require your own vehicle. There is no public transit or Uber in The County, although we do have a number of taxi companies and car or hire services.
Other Things to Note:
A rental agreement with Places in PEC is required to be signed, it is an e-signature document that will be sent though the booking channel, please check your spam folder. Once returned your booking is 100% confirmed. This is requires as we are a member of the Travel Industry Council of Ontario and we do not own the property we manage it on behalf of the owners.

By providing a variety of vacation properties we can ensure that your vacation is a success no matter where you decide to stay. A rental agreement is required to be signed and returned within 48 hours of booking. The agreement is required as we manage the properties and do not own them. We are a member of the Travel Industry Council of Ontario and it is a requirement by them and the insurance.
