"We stayed one night at the Oakdene Guest House and wished we had stayed for two nights. The owners, Sonia and Daniel, were very welcoming and couldn’t have done anymore for us. Sonia cooks her own bread and cakes for guests. The smell and taste of both was fantastic. There is a swimming pool at the end of the long garden which was a great spot to unwind after a long drive. While booking a series of properties for a tour of the western cape I failed to notice that the calendar on the third booking, Rietfontein, had reverted to the current date this year instead of the date we reqd for next year. This was realised as soon as the confirmation came thru and Expedia were contacted immediately. Unfortunately neither Expedia or the Hotel were prepared to change the booking to the dates reqd. The...
