"We loved our stay at Quattro Castella! The property was exactly as described and so much more. It was peaceful and relaxing and perfect after a day of exploring the area. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed for preparing our meals. We loved the living room area and spent our evenings talking about our day and planning the next. We used the info provided by our host to plan our trips and meals. Such a perfect stay. Would definitely stay here again!"

"What a gorgeous location with exquisite facilities. The owner was extremely helpful, going out of his way to give us a private tasting and tour of his balsamic vinegar production. I want to return and stay longer. I highly recommend!"

"Beautifully renovated house with lovely dog walks around the area. The local restaurant (walking distance) is also excellent and you can buy gifts at their farm shop. We'd happily stay again. The breakfast staff were delightful and attentive. "

"Dragodena is a pastoral paradise! My children foraged ripe cherries and wildflowers from the surrounding hillsides. The house was gorgeous, peaceful, with an ancient elegance, and with beautiful layers of its former lives left open to the discoverer. A truly magical experience."

"This place is amazing. Second time back here and just as good as the first time around - no better place in the Bologna area for a relax - and the bioorganic pond is a dream. The wine is also divine and well priced. The only thing they could improve on is ensuring there is always a table at the restaurant for any guests as if the guests don’t actively book a table, then it’s unlikely you’ll get a table on walking in at this popular spot - very busy!"

Barbara (the host) could not have been a better host - she is so accommodating to everything we asked, her home is breathtaking and we are planning on returning to visit! "My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Roncolo! The hotel is new and beautiful, everything is clean and stylish. The hotel, pool, and restaurant sit on a large area of secluded land so you feel very removed and peaceful even though you’re only a few minutes from the nearest town. "Amazing stay. Our favorite stay of our Italy trip. Apartment is so large and comfortable and in a very nice area of town. 20 min walk to the historic center. Amazing gelateria across the street and the garage parking spot (though only for small cars) makes it very convenient. Easy street parking too. Very sparkling clean, bed comfortable. AC welcome in 100 degree heat wave. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely return if we are back in Modena."

"property owner is not accommodating at all. I ask to stay one extra night, and he refused just out of his ass. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Collemandina. The property was in excellent condition and Leonardo was very helpful with the check in process and also when we didn't have any hot water. The location is very picturesque and quiet. The only downside is that it is a little isolated. There is a restaurant near the property but it is probably a 20 minute walk up steep roads. We were very reliant on using the car to get everywhere when ideally there would be some amenities a little bit closer."

Fabulous Hotel, Great Location.

"We always stop here when we drive to the U.K. and then home again. The hotel is easy to find, ample parking and has clean and comfortable rooms. The staff are incredibly helpful and we’ve never had a bad stay. Will be back again in a couple of months on our way home. "
