"We stayed at this property for the annual Toowoon Bay ocean swim and it was a great spot due to the location being walking distance to the beach. Self contained so it was easy to make meals with even some provision of basic long life goods (tinned foods/spices) which we didn’t use but great to be on offer. "Lovely old home with fireplace and excellent cooking facilities. Property is huge and has charm. Great deck to sit and look out at the river with peace and quiet, no neighbours. River access is very narrow (fishing not possible) and the mud at low tide is very deep (not possible to walk on). We suspected this before booking but didn't realise how bad the mud actually was until sinking in it when we tried to walk.
