"What an amazing find! we were walking the dales way and had walked from Appetreewick that day, we arrived later than expected. "Lovely property in a peaceful location with fantastic views over the reservoir and up the valley. Perfect for our stay and with a secure store for bikes. Some fantastic rides up on the moors. Excellent and friendly host. Only downside was all local pubs don’t open on Monday or Tuesday so take food or be prepared to drive to Pateley Bridge."

"Lovely accommodation for our 5 families to get together... 10 adults, 4 children and 3 dogs. Location is perfect, right in the centre of Darlington with parks close by for the children. A little bit dated but absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Great big bay windows for people watching onto the street was also a massive bonus (although the windows only opened from the bottom up so dangerous for the little ones and dogs, just to bare in mind, but not a negative in anyway!) "Cottage is a good standard, great for a pit stop. Stayed for 2 nights. Very impressed with the Willow restaurant, gorgeous food. Piping hot, seems to be a theme around these parts, something I really appreciate! A bit disappointed that breakfast was only served until 9:30. "

"This place was a little piece of heaven. Immaculate, cozy, well, appointed in a lovely hamlet with a river across the street, a nearby sandwich shop and the Red Lion pub a stones throw away. We stayed for four nights and had bucolic walks to Grassington along the river and to the Bolton abbey for another fine walk. The Dales are magic and there are plenty of pictaresque scenes to greet. We didn’t want to leave."

"Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property while visiting family nearby. It had everything you need and nice decor. Owner quick to respond and to small problem. Would stay again and recommend. The only small negative were that directions weren't clear for our late arrival."

"Great location in Richmond right next to castle and market center. Just steps to market Center, shops and restaurants. The apartment is newly remodeled, clean and spacious. It is well appointed and quiet. Our host was easy to reach and responsive. There were chocolates and fresh milk in the fridge. 2 things of note; parking is not provided and somewhat of a challenge. Also, no shampoo, body wash or lotion for the bath. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"We had a great few days staying at this lovely cottage in Grassington. Log burner keeps it cosy and all the equipment you need to self cater is provided. Very comfortable bed. The cottage is very convenient for the village centre, with it's cafes, pubs and takeaways. Many walks straight from the door. We'd certainly like to stay here again! "
