Enjoy this peaceful cottage with a park like setting on the Rifle River. Take in beautiful views of the river and wildlife.

We have several kayaks that guests can use to enjoy a relaxing trip down the river or one of the several lakes nearby.

There are two fire pits, a larger one by the river and one next to the house with firewood provided for your use.

The house is beautiful furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen. There are two comfortable queen beds and twin bunk bends with plenty of room for all to enjoy.

We loved our stay at Kellie’s house. It has beautiful views of the river in the back and the house is so cozy. She was very attentive and responded to all our questions. I highly recommended staying at this beautiful property and home!

Perfect place to relax and enjoy nature
The property was awesome. It was extremely clean and listing was spot on in description. We enjoyed the Rifle River along the back of the property and the multiple fire pits. It was so quiet and relaxing it was just what we all needed for a perfect fall weekend getaway. Besides the campfire and river the available kayaks were the next best thing. Kellie and Eugene were great hosts and and responded quickly and promptly to any questions prior to booking and after booking. The place was great and we as a family are already talking about going back at some point in the near future.

Peaceful and relaxing!
Everything was wonderful at this house! Having the water right outside was a huge plus and provided fun during the day thanks to the ample supply of kayaks. We loved the firepit at night and appreciate the supply of firewood. The inside decor is charming, kitchen has everything you need, beds were cozy, and couch was comfy. Our family of five (including three teenagers) were all very happy with our time here and would return again.

Four friends and I stayed at this property in August and were very impressed. I’ve stayed at quite a few rentals and have never been to one so well stocked with everything you could need. The house was also much cleaner than some rentals I’ve stayed at. The yard is beautiful and peaceful. We loved taking the provided kayaks out on the river. The owners were extremely responsive. We’ve already booked for next year!

Perfect Anniversary Trip!
My husband and I rented the property for our 15th anniversary trip. It was the two of us and our golden doodle. Everything was fantastic, described, and represented perfectly in the listing. It is in a nice quiet area where one side of the property is wooded. There are neighbors on the other side, but not too close at all. The property is right on the river as described, it is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. We walked up the river, as the water was shallow enough. We also really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs and had the most perfect weather for it! It was the quiet, relaxing, and beautiful trip that we were hoping for! We highly recommend this property and would most definitely rent It again in the future!

Peaceful Winter Retreat
Cabin is located on prime spot with beautiful view of the Rifle River. Cozy and quiet; exceptionally clean; well-stocked kitchen; beds very comfortable. Rained on and off the whole time, but it we still enjoyed campfires at night, and the raindrops falling on the river added to the serenity of this beautiful cabin. Highly recommend; will return this summer or fall to enjoy the river.

Guys fishing trip.
Property was in a nice location on the river and had plenty of room and indoor and actually activities. After our fishing trip everything was there you have an enjoyable evening without needing to go anywhere.

Perfect week!
We try to get this place every summer for 3 or 4 nights just to kick back and unwind. It never disappoints! Its a great stay. The beds are clean and comfortable the house in its self is very clean outside activities are for the whole family and very enjoyable! This is my go to, to get away from!

Rifle River Tubing Trip
We had a great time, perfect, beautiful location on the river! Tubes are not included like it was stated in the listing so we did have to buy our own. There is a pet fee as well but worth it because they provide a little fenced in area for your pup! Our dog had a blast swimming and running around. We did not use the kayaks but they were available for use which was nice. We dropped our tubes in at Kenneth Rd and floated back to the house, it was the perfect trip. There was plenty of firewood to use, we brought our own as well. Beds and couches were super comfy. Everyone in our party had a wonderful time, im sure we will be back!

Lots of wildlife to be seen
We had a wonderful, relaxing time. The property and home were exactly as described in ad and then some. Great place for family time and enough to keep my grand-daughters busy. We saw an eagle, deer, chipmunks, a family of geese, ducks and more. Loved the campfires by the river!

Peaceful escape
This was perfect for a weekend escape from Detroit. The kids loved the sledding hill and we loved that the windows in the dining room look out onto the hill so we could watch them play without having to go out every time. The rooms were clean, the tv worked well and the kitchen is well stocked. It is quiet and peaceful we enjoyed our time quite a bit.

Cozy hideaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was clean quiet and very relaxing! Being able to enjoy the river was a bonus. We were also able to see some wildlife (squirrels, a cool frog, deer, and some cranes fishing in the river). The highlight was the bald eagle that perched in a tree looking for fish in the river. Everything was as described in the listing. Look forward to coming back again.

Amazing visit! Was looking for a weekend getaway with the fam and got that plus what felt like more. My kids loved the hill to sled on, I enjoyed keeping the winter fire going, and my wife and I took it all in while recharging on the river. Appreciate the sharing of this opportunity.
